Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Yarian Works, LLC ("Yarian Works," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use yarian.com, Yarian Works applications, and Yarian Works AI integrations, including integrations with Microsoft Teams.

Depending on the service you use, we may process account and identity information, messages or prompts you submit, conversation and channel metadata, technical logs, device/browser information, and information you intentionally provide through forms or connected services.

For Microsoft Teams integrations, the application may receive message content, sender identity, team/channel identifiers, thread identifiers, timestamps, and related metadata needed to route messages, enforce access rules, maintain conversation continuity, and return responses.

We use information to operate and secure our services, authenticate users, apply identity-based access and authority rules, provide requested responses or workflows, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, maintain audit/provenance records when appropriate, and improve system reliability.

A message, mention, schedule, or other trigger does not by itself grant additional authority. Access to context and actions is determined by the authenticated identity and the permissions assigned to that identity.

When a Yarian Works application is installed in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft may provide the application with data permitted by the app's configured Microsoft permissions and the scope in which the app is installed. Yarian Works limits processing in its own application logic according to configured channels, users, roles, and authority boundaries.

Microsoft and other connected services have their own privacy policies and terms. Their handling of information is governed by those policies in addition to this one.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers and connected platforms only as needed to operate the requested service, comply with law, protect users or systems, or complete an action that you or an authorized administrator requested.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the operational, security, contractual, legal, or research purpose for which it was collected. Retention can vary by service, workspace, integration, and administrative configuration. Diagnostic and audit records may be kept longer when needed for security, reliability, or accountability.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may choose not to submit information to our services. Where applicable, you may also request access, correction, or deletion of information under our control, subject to legal, security, operational, and recordkeeping requirements.

Yarian Works business and developer services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through these services.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, integrations, or legal obligations change. The effective date shown at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
